Can a lack of sleep lead to thinning hair or hair loss?

I know a person who has started a new job sixth months ago which causes him to routinely get about 5 or less hours of sleep a night. He has begun to notice the hair at the crown of his head is thinning. There is no history of baldness in his family. Is it possible this lack of sleep can be the cause of the thinning hair? What should he do?Can a lack of sleep lead to thinning hair or hair loss?
Yes, indirectly. Lack of sleep or poor quality sleep induces the body to release stress hormones, which can contribute to thinning hair. This is a temporary condition. It is more likely that your friend's diet is contributing to his hair loss. Research has shown a direct link between eating a fatty saturated fat and increased male pattern baldness. Your friend's hecticwork schedule has probably also deteriorated his eating habits. This is the reason Asian men do not go bald as often as Amercian and European men.Can a lack of sleep lead to thinning hair or hair loss?
Yes!More work more tension and no relax results in hair loss .A good sleep is very necessary to con troll your hair fall.
